Our club is equipped with cardio equipment, free weights, weight machines, plyometric equipment, boxing equipment, grappling room and a boxing ring.
Although the training regimen may differ for a beginner level boxer, expert boxer, MMA fighter, kickboxer or someone who is interested in staying active; the level of unparalleled commitment, dedication and professionalism provided by our qualified trainers spells success in each and every member.

Cory B. Pye
Cory strives on a day to day basis to help his clients be the best fighter they can be inside and out. By doing so he teaches through proper education, application and conditioning when teaching private one on one sessions and when he leads the Co-Ed and Youth Classes offered on Monday's, Wednesday's, and Friday's.
Cory has also had the opportunity to train and work with some of the best Canadian and internationally-recognized boxers – which has translated into the training programs offered today at SSB.

We also offer drop-in classes for anyone who would like to explore the area of boxing and an open-gym concept for all its members to use the facility during hours of operation.

Coach Cory B. Pye is the head boxing coach, trainer and Owner of Sweet Science Boxing. Boxing since the tender age of eight years old back in Nova Scotia, coach Pye was Manager at Huf Boxing Club in Ontario before moving to Fort McMurray. Today, he is the proud owner of Sweet Science Boxing and continues to strive to make it the hub of Fort McMurray’s boxing community.
Coach Pye has had the experience to train and work with some of the best Canadian and internationally-recognized boxers – an experience that he has translated into the training programs offered today at SSB.
Coach Charles MacKinnon is a Level 1 certified boxing coach and proud Owner of Sweet Science Boxing.
Charles's love of the sport and wanting to share it with others, he and Cory decided to open a club of their own.
This day came when they first opened Sweet Science Boxing club in 2008.
Whether you are a beginner who has always been interested in trying out this highly skilled and tactical sport, an expert level boxer, or are interested in taking part in highly intensive conditioning classes, SSB is here for you.
